This Lavender Plant is commonly called English Lavender or Big Time Blue. Its botanical name is Lavandula angustifolia ‘Big Time Blue’ planted in a 1 gallon” plastic pot. This variety is compact with deep blue flowers. It grows to be 10-12 inches tall and 10-12 inches wide. Lavender likes lots of sun, well-drained soil, and regular pruning in early September before labor day. This variety can be used in cooking. It dries well, retains its color, and is great for crafts.
